1. Data controller

Joaquín Hornos, operating under the Absteria brand, is responsible for processing the personal data described in this policy. Contact address: Calle Canelones esq. Wilson Ferreira Aldunate, Montevideo, Uruguay. Contact: privacidad@absteria.net.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the absteria.net website and business inquiries submitted through its form.

3. Data we collect

Through the form, we receive the information you voluntarily provide: name, company, email, phone number (optional), country, description of your operation and page language.

Technical data necessary for operation, security and abuse prevention may also be processed, such as IP address, browser, user-agent, request information and security signals.

4. Purposes

We use form data exclusively to receive and respond to business inquiries; contact the person concerned about the requested demonstration or inquiry; manage follow-up on that business opportunity; protect the form and site against fraud, bots and abuse; and maintain technical and operational security.

We do not use form data for newsletters or mass advertising without first obtaining separate consent.

5. Consent

Voluntarily submitting the form together with express acceptance of this Privacy Policy authorizes the processing of data to respond to and manage the business inquiry. This consent does not cover other marketing uses.

6. Retention

Inquiries that do not lead to a business relationship will be retained for no more than 12 months after the last interaction and then deleted when no longer needed.

If a contractual or business relationship begins, information may be retained for as long as necessary for that relationship and to meet applicable legal obligations. Data may be deleted earlier at the data subject's request where legally appropriate.

7. Service providers

To operate the site and process inquiries, we use technology providers including Cloudflare (DNS, security, Turnstile, Email Routing and web analytics when enabled), Lovable (website hosting and infrastructure), Resend (sending transactional form emails) and Google/Gmail (receiving and operationally managing business communications).

These providers process only the information necessary for their respective functions, subject to their own applicable terms and agreements.

8. International transfers

Some technology providers may process information outside Uruguay, including in the United States and other jurisdictions where their infrastructure or subprocessors operate. We will seek to use appropriate contractual, technical and organizational measures in accordance with applicable law.

9. Cloudflare Turnstile

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish human requests from automated traffic and protect the site. Turnstile may process technical signals such as IP address, user-agent, connection characteristics and other security signals. Turnstile does not receive the form's contents.

10. Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is used or will be used to obtain aggregate site usage and performance metrics. This service is used without advertising cookies or individual cross-site tracking.

11. Data subject rights

Under Uruguayan law, you may request access, rectification, updating, inclusion where applicable and deletion where applicable of your personal data by writing to privacidad@absteria.net.

We will seek to respond within the time limits established by applicable law. In Uruguay, for rights covered by Law 18,331 where applicable, the maximum period is 5 business days. You may also contact the Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales (URCDP).

12. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, including server-side validation, anti-spam protection and access controls. No measure guarantees absolute security.

13. Minors

The site and form are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly seek to collect information from minors.

14. Changes

We may update this policy if services, data processing or laws change. The current version will always show its last-updated date.
